It is used to have online meetings and Knowledge transfer classes in wide range of schedules in our daily life, which allows us to have all meetings in remote locations, which makes our daily routine simpler to one and all

I used Zoom as the main video conference tool during my time at University for class work and in extracurricular club collaboration. Especially in the height of Covid-19, Zoom was the platform I spent the majority of my working day on. We used Zoom for serious collaboration as well as for networking or team bonding activities that allow individuals to get to know each other further.
• Team rooms
• Screen sharing
• Fun backgrounds
• Access needs to be granted each time for non-meeting owners
• Need to wait 10 min between creating new Zoom call links in the free version
Zoom is very well suited for large meetings when you plan to create break out sessions. The organizer can easily select the number of meetings within the main meeting required and can customize which participants are in each room. Zoom is also well suited for 1:1 meetings. The video quality is high and have very few issues with video and audio connection and quality.

Zoom is a terrific video conferencing software. We have been using it ever since the pandemic set in to connect with our clients from remote locations. It is very popular and every one is aware of it so there is no learning curve and the easy to use UI makes it quite hassle free to use.

As Covid-19 spread an lockdowns started we needed a solution to allow us to communicate internally as we switched to working remotely. Zoom offered us the ability to video chat and ability to share screens. It was incredibly stable offering an amazing experience for our users. We also used it to engage with the community as it was one of the most recommended products on the market and simple enough for users to start to use.
• Single Sign On - Intergation with our Active Directory
• Incredible video/audio quality
• Settings to limit abuse by participant
• Recording quality could be improved
• Auto-update could be improved. We had to manually update some clients from unsupported versions of the software
Great well rounded product but with some room for improvement.

My team at work telecommutes about 40% of the time, with some of us in the office and others working from home on any given day. We use Zoom as a web conferencing and teleconferencing tool for our daily standup meetings and for ad-hoc collaboration. It enables us to communicate and collaborate with each other regardless of where we're physically located.
• It's reliable and provides good quality audio and video conferencing. We've had issues with other web conferencing solutions, but not with Zoom.
• It's easy to use. Creating a meeting, joining a meeting, and using the tool are all intuitive and don't require training.
• I don't have any complaints with it so far and can't think of anything I would like to change.
Zoom is a great tool for remote team collaboration, screen sharing, and web conferencing. They have a generous free pricing tier that's great for small teams and casual use.

I have been using Zoom for several years now and it is a great meeting platform for me and my sales and customer success teams. Recently I've started to see pop-up ads to refer a friend when I close a meeting on the Client app on my Mac. There is also a static banner app on the client asking for referrals. Zoom made this choice back in Nov 2021 for the web-based version, and their FAQs say that Paid Users wouldn't see ads. Obviously, their investors have pushed them to move ads to the client side and to paid users.

Dear Zoom, I do not wish to be a member of your sales or marketing teams. One extra click at the end of each meeting to dismiss the pop-up takes time, and I don't have time for that.

Chatting with your support they indicate that this is the default setting now and that it can't be changed. This needs to change.
Ads cannot be opted out of on the client app.

We have a globally distributed team and use Zoom for both our internal calls as well as client calls. The screen sharing feature is really useful and we also record the calls for future reference. It's good to see the team members of other locations on video calls as well. Next, we are planning to use the Zoom API in one of our projects for text messaging through a website.
• Call recordings - we record all our scrum calls and especially the calls where we have to discuss new requirements. That way we don't have to worry about something that may get missed out while taking notes.
• Screen sharing - when we have calls with clients and they are reporting some issue or requirement in the system, they show us the problem via screen sharing. That way there's no gap in our understanding and we can avoid wasting time going back and forth due to miscommunication.
• No connection issues - we haven't had any instances of connection dropping during the calls which is great. Our calls are typically 5-8 members but we have tried Zoom with ~25 participants without any issues.
• If you pause a call recording for a certain amount of time, it would be great if there's a notification somewhere that it is paused. A few times when I was hosting a call, I paused it while waiting for all participants to join but then forgot to resume recording.
• When a message is received on chat, it sometimes gets missed. A more prominent notification (blinking/popup etc.) may be helpful.
Zoom is well suited for meetings between participants in different locations. I sometimes use it just for screen recordings with audio to share it later as well (i.e. start a meeting where I am the only participant).

Zoom is being used across the whole organization. While we have a headquarters, we have remote employees around the country, as well as staff in 9 country offices. Zoom allows all of our staff to be present, no matter where we are. Calls can also be recorded for those who couldn't attend.
• It allows multiple people on calls. Messaging is also available.
• You can show the video to yourself first before you join the call.
• Calls can be recorded.
• There are free and paid versions.
• In the free version, if your time runs out it cuts off the call. It might be better to just charge the client.
Zoom is well suited to remote employees, a large company, or employees that travel often. It makes video calls very easy. The app is also user-friendly.

I use Zoom for online private tutoring and meetings. To be honest, I hate it, especially since they cut times down from 60 - 40mins and want a fee for any more than 40mins. Other free platforms, such as MS Teams is far more superior. Zoom is also severely restrictive on apps, whereas other platforms provide access to more and better apps. The apps they do have also have major problems interacting with Zoom. It has very few features compared to the free platforms. More recently, it has been widely reported that Zoom is beset with many security issues and user privacy is exposed. I would NOT recommend Zoom at all. I am going back to MS Teams and have recommended the switch to all my clients.
Since introducing time restrictions and cost, Zoom is no longer suitable [for my use case].

With the Zoom price increase on their free plan, they are strong-arming existing users and damaging brand goodwill. 1-on-1 Zoom lessons were previously free for unlimited minutes. Rather than identifying and eliminating their wastage and accounting for the goodwill, an unlimited free video conferencing service provides, without prior warning, they limited that time to 40-minutes. It is likely a blow to business with existing meetings on the books and it was not sufficiently publicized. If I stand to lose money on my existing meetings because my services cannot be rendered in the agreed-upon 55 minutes, how am I incentivized to upgrade my plan? Zoom and its fiduciary partners should reconsider their policy. However, I am impressed by the functionality of WhereBy and will be porting my services through them in the meantime!
• Uninterrupted meeting connection
• Functionality with external microphones
• Complementary screen sharing
• Change in subscription plan will cost small businesses the most
• The lack of a warning for the new free meeting time limit creates a wedge in user trust
• $15/mo plan is not competitive with free services with similar functionality like WhereBy
Zoom has severely injured the goodwill it has garnered over the worst of the pandemic. After capturing the market share with free unlimited 1 on 1 meeting, strong-arming users who are dependent on this infrastructure is, at best, insulting and at its worse, an unethical positioning in the marketplace.

Zoom is a horrible choice in terms of teleconferencing for several reasons. I can't believe that people actually pay to use their service when other equally good services are available and free, plus do a better job. On Zoom, there is a limit of 1 hour and 40 minutes per 24-hour period, and yet they have no history you can save, no call duration that can be saved, nor any customer assistance for technical problems. On Skype, for example, all calls between Skype users are free and unlimited, and you can transfer files and takes notes that are saved on Skype. Why would anybody pay 14 euros per month for 1-1 calls when Skype is exactly the same quality but totally free plus does so much more? If you want to waste your money or have a company that pays for you because "yeah but popular, so better" that's up to you, but they are definitely a very greedy company and I don't support them at all. Once they offer free calls or stick to group environments only, that would make more sense, otherwise just a waste of money.
• Group calls
• Saved history
• Saved notes
• Free calls
• No limits on calls since institutions pay the bulk of the contracts anyways
• More customer support for prooblems
I will not recommend them to anyone.

Zoom is the game-changer in these times, I am a medical student and consultant so life and study go side by side for students across the globe zoom is so helpful in form of calls, video calls, and sharing screens, videos, and images while calling with across a hundred participants. In these pandemic times when the world had become global in the past 2 years, ZOOM has all the answers to your questions and meets all your requirements.
• Calling
• Video calling.
• Screen sharing.
• Hundreds of participants get connected at the same time in same room.
• Its user interface is not easy to eye.
• Color theme is very dull.
• It is expensive.
• Its web version is very slow.
As I have mentioned I am a resident and student too I have to attend webinars frequently. Zoom has offered us the features of connecting people across the globe through audio and video call, also offer the feature of screen recording when I can't attend the webinars and meeting so the screen recording feature of zoom come up for me. It has been a blessing in pandemic times.

We quickly transitioned from in-person meetings to online with Zoom in 2020. This allowed our organization to go from local events and clients to national service offerings easily. Zoom is easy for our clients to use regardless of the device they have. The quality is great. Without it our nonprofit would have failed as quickly as we started.
• Quality of audio/video
• Low cost
• Ease of use
• Nothing, it works great as is.
Zoom is great for video conferencing and solving the problem of staying connected while working remotely. It allows for great collaboration and connection with team members as well as clients. It has become a trusted name in the industry of video conferencing and as such lends credibility to our organization for using it to work with our clients.

Zoom is used by our company to complete our remote work and communicate through meetings online. We make use of the whiteboards, the ability to create and join webinars, chatting and the raising hand tool, and those are all features that make Zoom so unique in comparison to competitors, since it's complete enough for it to feel like real life communication. I find it easy to use and the learning curve was simple to get through, and now I incorporate it in both professional and personal aspects of my life. Because my work is mostly remote, Zoom is part of my work life and meetings are constantly scheduled in my team, at least twice a week, to talk about our projects and other important things we need to know about, it's also used to communicate with international clients and clients that are outside of the city but we need to get instant feedback from them.
• Zoom is very intuitive and simulates real life communication by providing us with tools that are user-friendly. I especially like the fact that I can schedule meetings and it will appear on my calendar with the direct link to it.
• Background change is nice and works well if I want to change to a more professional looking background.
• Non-users can join through an URL, which is extremely beneficial for us as some clients don't use the programs we use and they need to be able to communicate with us.
• Ability to create breakout rooms to split participants into certain groups, which we use for when we're hosting webinars or so.
• It has good pricing plans that adjust to our budget and allow us to keep communicating.
• End-to-end encryption to protect myself and my team.
• My biggest dislike about Zoom and I hope they fix it soon enough is that when I join a meeting and get disconnected because of network issues or other circumstances, I need permission to join the meeting again. This becomes an issue for us because if we're having an important meeting or displaying a presentation for the audience, it becomes troublesome for the host to stop the presentation to let people in, and it becomes troublesome for me to wait and possibly miss important information being talked about.
• The Android app is not intuitive nor visually appealing for me, although I have used it a few times only , I've found it to be quite tacky in comparison to the desktop version, where all the features are included and there are minimal bugs.
I recommend this software to any teams that are struggling with communicating with each other and are looking for solutions to fix this problem. Zoom is extremely user-friendly and it contains user guides that are easy to digest, as well as having a great interface that will provide you with the right features to get you and your team ready to create meetings as soon as possible.

Zoom To The Rescue

I use Zoom to do video conference calls with others. This makes it very practical to replace the need to meet in person especially during the covid-19 pandemic.
• Breakout rooms.
• Still backgrounds.
• Enhance audio & vide effects.
• A method to sync audio from various participants especially for the purpose of music lessons over the internet.
• Feature to allow for more than a single designated speaker camera zoom window.
Zoom can be used for multiple participants to meet from different locations as long as the participants have an internet connection, camera & microphone. During the time where the pandemic kept us from meeting in person, we used Zoom as the alternative of choice to perform virtual meetings allowing everyone to still come together and virtually see each other simultaneously on the computer screen. Unfortunately, Zoom cannot be used to perform musical instrument rehearsals since there would be feedback from the various participants.

I use Zoom to interact with clients. This includes setting up intro meetings for prospective clients and also weekly meetings for project status or planning. The most significant use of Zoom for me is through the delivery of workshops for clients. They range from 1-hour sessions to 8 hours a day.
• Breakout rooms - their simplicity and ability to manage.
• User interface - ability to manage all the features and see participants at same time.
• Playing videos and audio - can adjust settings.
• When doing breakout rooms, I would like the ability to not place co-host in a room.
A specific scenario that I use it most often is for facilitating group learning of 20-30 people. We can see all the people on one screen to allow for good group discussion and then break out into smaller groups for smaller discussions. For larger groups of 100 more, you have to use different screens to see all the participants which isn't optimal. Webinar version of 500+ participants works well where you can easily see the hosts/speaker and participate in chat.

Zoom is my go-to platform for client sessions. As a service-based business, Zoom has been absolutely integral to service delivery. In addition to delivering sessions, we have also used Zoom to attract leads to free webinars and to deliver workshops to groups. Zoom is a key tool in replacing in-person venues in order to run a fully virtual business.
• Easy to use.
• Widely understood.
• Supports multiple concurrent video feeds.
• Integrates with many other apps via Zapier.
• Data collection.
• Video quality is poor.
• Webinars lack features to improve interactivity between guests.
• Spotlighting controls take some getting used to.
Zoom is a great all-around video conferencing platform. The ubiquity of Zoom, especially following the advent of quarantine lockdowns, means that most of your potential clients already know Zoom and understand how it works. This is perhaps its strongest selling point. Zoom is a great platform for service-based business owners who work with their clients online from anywhere in the world. If you are wanting to run a live round of a course in order to get videos for an evergreen product, however, Zoom is a poor choice because of the lack of HD video recording.

I use Zoom for meetings within my company and professional development meetings with external groups. It is so easy to connect. Zoom remembers my information for selection when opening up the Zoom app. You can use it on the computer or phone and a tablet if you have one. Meetings can go on even if you are sitting behind a screen and can't meet in person. It is a great alternative and user-friendly. Zoom is a unique tool for communicating with co-workers in the Netherlands and Belgium for screen sharing and training. We had to implement an ERP system in Belgium over Zoom. Thankfully, the Netherlands was implemented 6 months prior and co-workers could travel 6 hours by train to the Belgium office to provide additional on-site support while we were in the US virtually working through the integration and initial bugs. It wasn't the ideal situation, but [it was] the best we could do under the travel restriction circumstances.
• Easy and simple connection over an internet connection on a tablet, phone or computer and can switch from 1 device to another in an instant
• Remembers previous meeting information for quick access as you don't have to look it up prior to connecting
• Provides easy collaboration with people all over the world direct from our homes
• Limit on participants for phone call via video
• Time constraints on meetings for free version
I haven't heard any audio issues during meetings. Zoom attempts to reconnect you if your internet disconnects during a meeting. It is very easy to take control of the meeting with the collaboration tools so that I can quickly share my screen and files with the other team members in the meeting. It is best to limit the number of participants for a call or meeting. Sometimes it is difficult to discern who is talking during a screen share presentation. Also, it seems like [Zoom] is modeled after Skype [which] I've never had a particular affinity to .

Over the last few years, Zoom has become one of my go-to tools for video conferencing and group meetings. Simply put, it’s easy to use and understand. With this, we can communicate face-to-face, and we can rely on its reliability and integrity. We’ve used it for various online workouts, as well as for webinars and other web-based events. My official meetings and conversations with friends and family are made more accessible because it’s so simple to use. People from all over the world can now talk to each other via Zoom’s global reach. Users experience technical difficulties other than making sure they are using the correct video and audio input. We employed it for remote coworkers as well.
• It's a great way to connect around the world with minimal bandwidth consumption.
• Meeting our peers and exchanging ideas is made possible through the use of high-quality video and audio calls.
• Exceptional audio and video quality; we are recording meetings and transferring them to other storage.
• Compared to other apps, it has more features and allows for efficient file sharing within the chatbox.
• Sharing zoom complete information is not visible on the screen, and also a bit is confusing minimizing and maximizing.
• Every time someone enters the chat, a chat box appears on my screen, and some features are missing from this version.
• Automatic conference connection based on a schedule isn't an option, and neither is enhanced security measures.
In this uncertain period, we must have Zoom, whether we're teaching, running our business, or working in IT. Using Zoom to conduct regular or one-off meetings with remote team members is ideal. The most inconvenient use case for Zoom is the transfer of confidential information. Various options are available to meet the needs of businesses.

Zoom is used by our teams to communicate with clients/customers/teams outside of our organization to which we cannot connect because of organizational security and restriction on connecting people out of the organization. Among the multiple options available on the market, Zoom has proved to be the best communication channel. In addition to managing day-to-day tasks, Zoom can be used for client meetings, standing meetings, walkthroughs, etc. Besides the usual features like recording, screen sharing, chat, live streaming, etc., it has additional features which any communication channel should have.
• Screen Sharing
• Recording
• Chatting
• Rooms
• Live Streaming
• HD quality
• Apps availability
• The meetings will be over at a given time, and teams will need to rejoin the bridge again to continue.
• Won't work with low bandwidth.
A well-suited communication tool with no limitations. A wide range of features is available for a variety of professional needs. When most things are done online today, Zoom is a must-have tool whether you are teaching, working in IT, or running your own business. A great feature of this is that we can connect with a large group in a single window or do a live stream so that audience members can participate in the Q&A.

Zoom is used as an app for collaboration and communication for [our organization and others like it] in Balkan. It is an easy-to-use option compared to other platforms, and it perfectly solves the main necessities of video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat which is a must other competitors offer those services also.
• HD video
• Chat
• Rooms
• Very good audio quality
• You need an app to make the calls and meetings, but it would be perfect if it had a web-based option.
• Sometimes when internet speed drops, the audio quality also drops; I would understand the video quality dropping, but the audio doesn't consume much bandwidth, so it would be nice to have a consistent audio even on low internet speeds.
Zoom is a nice option for those people that know the basics of surfing on the web and using basic programs. It doesn't require a high level of understanding or being in IT software; the design is simple and easy to use, which makes it very friendly for new users. One pleasant option is that you can join meetings without creating a Zoom account. If Zoom added an option like web-based without the need to install an app, it would be perfect, because let's face it, some people don't like installing other software programs on their pc.

We have been using it across the whole organization, and it was running well, but from time to time the connection was not unstable and if that happens then the Zoom application was failing to run, but the latest version of Zoom fixed that issue as it automatically reconnects the session. Besides that, sometimes there was a black screen when co-hosts tried to share their screen. And this problem was only special for those who were using a Macbook computer. We found out about that issue later, but the rest of the other operating systems were working smoothly.
• Consuming little bandwidth.
• Quality of Video call and audio calls.
• Recording meetings over other storages.
• Efficient of file sharing inside chat box.
• Assign automatically is the best one that Zoom offers as it is randomly chosen.
• It would be nice if the counter time popped up before three minutes at most.
• Zoom should not allow participants to return to the main room til the close breakout rooms finish.
I have used a variety of applications quite similar to Zoom, but Zoom is different from all other applications in terms of being user-friendly and requiring low bandwidth internet connectivity. I have not seen any problems with Zoom yet. I would recommend it to anyone who feels that the internet connectivity is not fast enough, because Zoom is better than other similar applications.

Zoom is used across whole organization of ours. We use it for daily meetings, quality training, end user interaction, internal training purposes, etc. We use it to address day-to-day activities, events, seminars, and communicate with large group of people from remote location. Its user-friendly interface allow us to understand the conversation that's been in meeting agendas by sharing projections through screen sharing and sorting out the problem with the team on various issues.
• Screen sharing
• Connectivity
• User friendly
• Easily accessible through mobile
• Picture quality
• More user windows to be added on single screen of mobile application
• Calendar integration should be improved
Its is well suited where connectivity is weak, as it performs really well on slow internet.

Less appropriate when a user logs in--it shouldn't notify a new joinee frequently

Zoom is being used across the whole organization since COVID 19. The main reason behind using Zoom is to tackle problems related to physical meet-up. This is being used by teachers for delivering lectures and by other staff for official meetings. It is quite cheap and reliable platform available at lower or no cost for professional utilization.
• Whiteboard - Easy to deliver detailed lecture and helps in explanation purpose.
• Annotation - For better explanation of Images and related examples.
• Recording - For those who have missed the session because of personal issues.
• More recording time for free user.
• Group discussions using breakout sessions for free users.
• Security should be enhanced.
Zoom is well suited for online meetings and also suited for recording of lectures that can be useful for those who have missed the sessions because of their personal reasons. It is also beneficial when you have to explain something and can do easily using annotation feature and by using whiteboard feature to properly explain what you want. Group discussions are also possible by creating breakout sessions among number of participants.
